December 19, 2024 – “Acivilate, Inc. is honored to be part of this amazing partnership to serve the citizens of Dekalb County and hope restorative systems become more of the norm within the Justice Space.”
Acivilate, Inc.
The Dekalb County District Attorney’s Office established the Stopping Trends of Repeat Incarceration with Diversion and Education (STRIDE) program in 2019 in an effort to reduce justice involvement for individuals between the ages of 17-24. Using Pokket as their cloud-based case management system, they have successfully served nearly 100 participants since its inception.
AWS recently conducted a case study on this program. To download the case study, click here. You can also read about it on Government Technology’s online portal Govtech.com (STRIDE Case Study).
Each STRIDE cohort meets once a week, over a 12-14 month period, and works together with community partners to help the participants reach their goals through personalized plans, counseling, and workforce training. Pokket allows participants to track their own progress and communicate with program staff when they need help.
The Dekalb County District Attorney’s Office is one of Acivilate, Inc.’s oldest clients. They were there at the beginning and have lent their expertise to allow Pokket to become a better transition support platform. Our goal at Acivilate is to make restorative processes as easy as possible for:
- Criminal Justice Agencies to adopt
- Health and Human Services Agencies to break through the impenetrable CJIS Forcefield
- Individuals seeking services to reach their goals
